USD 457 will hold a free developmental screening clinic for children three to five years of age, who are Garden City residents. The clinic will be held on Friday, March 7 at the Garfield Early Childhood Center, 121 W. Walnut St.
There will be a number of music concerts scheduled during the week at Garden City Public Schools USD 457. The free concerts are open to the public.
To encourage more families to take advantage of the healthy choices available with school breakfast, Garden City Public Schools USD 457 will celebrate National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) during March 3-7.
The USD 457 Board of Education heard a presentation on inter Assessment Data for reading at their regular meeting on Feb. 17.
There will be no school for students at Garden City Public Schools USD 457 on Thursday, Feb. 27, and Friday, Feb. 28, for parent teacher conferences. School will be back in session on Monday, March 3.
The USD 457 Board of Education approved a proposal for an all-inclusive playground with ADA-compliant turf footing for Edith Scheuerman Elementary School at their regular meeting Monday.
