WICHITA – The Ulysses High School boys claimed three titles and came away with a fourth place finish as a team Saturday in the two-day Class 4A State Track and Field Championships at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium in Wichita.
GOODLAND – The Great West Activities Conference held its league track and field meet on May 15 in Goodland with the Holcomb boys and the Cimarron girls coming away with the team championships.
Area high school basketball teams’ seasons are continuing, with the smaller classifications having their league tournaments this week while the mid to larger classifications returning to their regular season games.
SCOTT CITY – Scott Community High School held its annual tournament on Saturday. This was the 40th year for the event.
The Lakin High School and Scott Community High School boys’ basketball teams picked up wins Tuesday night.
High school basketball teams returned to the court last week to begin the second half of their seasons. Many are starting in on league matchups.
