Garden City High School’s girls’ swimming team swam its way to a convincing quadrangular victory at its home meet on Tuesday at the Garden City Family YMCA Pool.

WICHITA - While there were no individual champions or top three finishers in any event, the Garden City High School girls’ swimming team had a strong performance at the Wichita-Trinity Academy Invitational on Saturday.

There are not many home meets on the schedule for the Garden City High School girls’ swimming team, so when they do compete at the Garden City Family YMCA, they want to perform well for the home crowd.

For the third consecutive year, the Garden City High School’ boys’ swimming team got to celebrate a dip in the pool with its coaches.

MAIZE - It was the final preparation and tune-up for the Garden City Buffaloes’ boys’ swimming team, and despite not scoring any top five finishes, the Maize South Invitational on Friday (Feb. 7) proved to be a good one for the GCHS squad.

WICHITA - Aleisha Stepp has a grand plan for her Garden City High School boys’ swimming team and she knew part of that would be that a limited squad would not finish high at the always-tough Wichita Heights Invitational.

HAYS - In nearly every event, the Garden City High School boys’ swimming team swam their best times of the 2024-25 season when they hit the pool Tuesday at the Hays quadrangular.
