Holcomb boys claim 3A state XC team title
LAWRENCE - Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence belonged to Finney County on Saturday during the state cross country meet for Class 6A and 3A.In Class 3A, the Holcomb High School boys’ team claimed the team title by 21 points while In Class 6A, the Garden City High School boys’ squad won the team title for a clean sweep by the county boys’ teams.CLASS 3ABrody Deniston led the Longhorns at the meet with a second place finish.

The South Gray High School girls’ cross country team grabbed the Class 1A state title Saturday at Wamego by four points over second-place finisher Crest.
