Holcomb football falls in 3A semifinal to Andale
The two southwest Kansas high school football teams remaining in the state playoffs both saw their seasons come to a close on Friday in sub-state semifinal games.Holcomb traveled to Andale to face the unbeaten juggernaut Indians, who had an 81-game winning streak at home.

Dighton, Holcomb advance in state playoffs
Dighton and Holcomb High Schools’ football teams kept their hopes of state championships alive Friday with victories in sectional play.In Class 3A, Holcomb went on the road Friday and revenged a regular season loss to the Scott City Beavers, 10-7, in a defensive battle.The Longhorns, 9-2, will now travel to Andale, 11-0, on Friday, Nov.
