As we welcome the start of the Fall 2025 semester, I am thrilled to share that Garden City Community College is on track to reach the highest enrollment in our history in terms of credit hours, accompanied by a strong increase in overall student headcount.
HAYS – The Fort Hays State University Foundation welcomes four new members to its Board of Trustees – Ashley Adorante, Shane DeWald, Chelsey Ladd, and Ryan Ruda.
Summer is always a season of energy and opportunity at Garden City Community College, and this year has been no exception. From groundbreaking professional development events to hands-on student experiences, GCCC continues to grow, evolve, and lead the way in creating a bright future for our region. I’m excited to share some of the highlights from this summer and provide a glimpse of what’s ahead for the Broncbuster community.
Garden City Community College (GCCC) President Ryan Ruda has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Rural Community College Alliance (RCCA), a national organization dedicated to advancing the mission of rural-serving colleges across the United States.
As we close the chapter on the 2024-25 academic year at Garden City Community College, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many accomplishments, milestones, and ongoing progress that have defined this past year.
At Garden City Community College, we take tremendous pride in the accomplishments of our students, both inside and outside the classroom. At Garden City Community College, our mission is to produce positive contributors to the economic and social well-being of society. In line with this vision, our two newest programs address the evolving needs of our community while equipping students for success in high-demand fields: Crop Production Technology and the Robotics and Mechatronics.
Garden City Community College President Ryan Ruda will host a “Coffee with the President” event from 8-9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 at Patrick Dugan’s Coffee House, located at 301 N. Main St.
