Kansas’ tax collections of $4.6B in first half of fiscal year on par with 2023

TOPEKA — The state of Kansas received $4.61 billion in tax revenue during the initial six months of the current fiscal year to narrowly surpass collections in the first half of last fiscal year.The Kansas Department of Revenue reported the July-to-December intake was $31 million more than the same period in 2023, but $50 million less than projected.

MANHATTAN — Two K-State 105 partners — NetWork Kansas and K-State Research and Extension — are collaborating to bring the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge to new heights as one of the leading youth entrepreneurship competitions in the state of Kansas.A first-of-its-kind commitment from K-State Research and Extension and Kansas 4-H will fully fund the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge, (KEC), which is a program of the NetWork Kansas Entrepreneurship (E)-Community Partnership.
