Area high school girls’ wrestling teams competed in regional competitions last weekend to determine who will advance to the state tournaments Feb. 28 and March 1. The top eight finishers in a given regional will advance to the state competition as well as the top three teams.

Area high school basketball teams’ seasons are continuing, with the smaller classifications having their league tournaments this week while the mid to larger classifications returning to their regular season games.
Many area high school basketball teams participated in mid-seasons tournaments last week or are competing in some this week.
