MOORE, Okla. - Every now and then during the 2024-25 basketball season, the Garden City High School girls’ team seemingly go from hot-to-cold in their shooting.

For senior David Holguin, it seems like a blink of an eye as he celebrated his individual win Tuesday night along with his teammates’ dominating performance in a 62-9 dual match triumph over Liberal in Western Athletic Conference action at The Garden.

It wasn’t the final time for the three senior Garden City High School girls’ wrestlers to compete in The Garden, but Tuesday night’s impressive 63-15 Western Athletic Conference victory over Liberal had its share of emotions.

VALLEY CENTER - Slow starts have been an issue for the Garden City Buffaloes’ boys’ basketball team this season, but nobody could have anticipated how deep a hole could be dug when they tipped off in the first round of the Valley Center January Jam on Thursday against No. 1-seeded Olathe Northwest.

HAYS - In nearly every event, the Garden City High School boys’ swimming team swam their best times of the 2024-25 season when they hit the pool Tuesday at the Hays quadrangular.
