LIBERAL - The Garden City High School volleyball team had its final tune-up before the 2025 Western Athletic Conference championship by sweeping Liberal in three on Tuesday, 25-18, 25-19, 25-13.

LIBERAL - In the first 35 years of the Western Athletic Conference cross country championship, the Garden City High School boys’ team had won just five titles, that time covering 1984 to 2018.
