GCCC Bookbusters to host release party
The Garden City Community College Bookbusters club will host a release party for volume three of ”Project 1919: GCCC’s Magazine of the Arts” from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, in the Omar D. Angeles Endowment Room inside the GCCC Beth Tedrow Student Center.
School to host heroes’ breakfast
Jennie Wilson Elementary School staff and students will host a Heroes’ Breakfast on Wednesday, April 30. The school’s staff has invited personnel from the Garden City Fire and Police departments, Finney County Sheriff’s Department, Finney County EMS, Kansas Highway Patrol, and LifeSave to the breakfast.
