DODGE CITY - If one were to consider the regular season results for most of the Western Athletic Conference volleyball teams, Saturday’s WAC championship results didn’t produce any major surprises at Dodge City.While Garden City High School posted a 2-2 record to place third, it was Great Bend’s 4-0 mark that snared the 2023 championship and Hays, last year’s winner, was second with a 3-1 mark in the round-robin format.“Overall, 2-2 is enough to get to host a (6A) sub-state (Saturday),” GCHS Head Coach Trista Bailey said.
