HUTCHINSON – Garden City High School sophomore Brooke Savolt capped off a successful second season of high school golf on Tuesday when she finished tied for 18th at the Class 6A state golf tournament at Hutchinson’s Carey Park Golf Course.Savolt completed the 36-hole event with a two-day total of 163 (75-88) and brought home the team’s first top 20 medal since Ryann Warren in 2021.Another sophomore, Megan Burr, made the cut for the final round and finished with identical scores of 90 for a 180 total.
