This past weekend, the majority of Kansas was blanketed in ice, leaving me to think about what life would be like if I lived somewhere where ice was not only constant but necessary for survival. âI donât think Iâd survive long in this weather,â I thought to myself as I chipped away at the ice on my windshield, âbut maybe if I were a polar bear, it wouldnât be so bad.â

Garden City Community College Theatre program has announced the second production of their 2024-25 year, âAgnes of Godâ by John Pielmeier, which will play in the KCB Bank Auditorium in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building on the GCCC campus, Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, and Feb. 6 â 8. Performances will all be at 7 p.m.
