SALINA - In their final tune-up meet before the Western Athletic Conference championships on May 15, the Garden City High School girls swimming team made a big splash at the combined Salina Central/Salina South Invitational on Thursday, May 8.

The Garden City High School Hall of Fame committee has selected Johnetta Holmes-Hebrlee, in-town inductee, and Gary Fief, out-of-county inductee, to be introduced into the GCHS Hall of Fame at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16, in the GCHS commons area, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
HAYSVILLE - The Campus Invitational in Haysville had originally been scheduled for the third week of April but inclement weather forced the postponement and it was reset for Friday, May 2.
