DODGE CITY - After winning two emotionally draining one-run decisions on Thursday and Friday that sandwiched a run-rule victory over Wichita-Northwest (also Thursday), the Garden City High School softball team hit the empty level of their gas tank in Friday’s final against unbeaten Maize South at the Dodge City Softball Classic.

WICHITA - Saturday proved to be another strong performance by the Garden City High School girls’ swimming team when they finished a solid seventh place in the 18-team Wichita North Invitational.
So many times, over the years of playing Dodge City in either boys’ or girls’ soccer, the result for the Garden City High School has come up on the short end of the score.
NEWTON - There were no under-par scores on Thursday at the Newton Invitational which was contested at the difficult Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
DODGE CITY - The Garden City High School music department participated in the State Large Group Contest held Wednesday, April 9.
