HAYS - The Garden City Community College Criminal Justice Competition Team/TEL (Tau Epsilon Lambda) excelled during the 2023 American Criminal Justice Association Region III competition, earning three first place finishes, three second place finishes, and five third place finishes.The competition was held October 19-22, at Fort Hays State University, Hays, with six schools in attendance (four universities and two community colleges).
The Garden City Community College Endowment Association has announced the Sunflower Electric Power Corporation robotics and automation scholarship, a new annual scholarship established by Sunflower Electric Power Corp.“Sunflower is a proud supporter of Kansas’ academic institutions and happy to see the implementation of the new robotics and automation program at GCCC,” Megan Ball, Sunflower’s executive manager of corporate services, said.
