Syracuse runs over Sublette, 25-0
Syracuse opened the football season Friday night on the road at Sublette and used a balanced scoring attack for a victory, 25-0.
The Bulldogs scored a touchdown in each of the quarters and used defensive pressure to keep the Larks out of the end zone.
Syracuse got on the scoreboard with 2:13 left in the first quarter, as Manual Jimenez scored his first touchdown of the game from 20-yards out. The conversion failed.
Jimenez added his second rushing touchdown of the game with 3:49 left in the second quarter, this time from 43-yards to give the Bulldogs a 13-0 lead going in to halftime. The conversion failed.
Syracuse’s Jr Diaz grabbed a 12-yard rushing touchdown with 9:20 left in the third quarter for the Bulldogs. The conversion failed.
Jimenez added one more touchdown to his total on the night, this time from the air with a 25-yard pass to Jorge Luna. The conversion failed.
