CELEBRATING VETERANS

Fireworks light up the sky over the Arkansas River bed Saturday night during a city fireworks show.  The show was the final event of a day of celebrating Veterans Day and those that have served their country.
Local veterans who have been on a Kansas Honor Flight to Washington D.C. ride on a trailer as an entry in the Veterans Day parade Saturday morning on Main Street.  The parade featured 47 entries.

The color guard from Garden City High School's JROTC program lead the Veterans Day parade Saturday on Main Street in downtown Garden City.  Members of the program also marched the parade route as an entry.
