USD 457 providing meals to students

Starting on Tuesday, Dec. 1, Garden City Public Schools USD 457 is providing free grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each school day.  The meals will be delivered curbside at the schools.  Parents can pick up meals for all enrolled students in their household at one school location.  For the safety of all, please do not exit the vehicle.  The elementary schools will also be contacting their parents through the Remind app to communicate special meal delivery and times at those facilities.

The district would like to remind the community that during this time all school facilities, including playground equipment, are closed to the public.  Families are asked to honor social distancing, wear a face mask, increased hand washing, and minimizing group gatherings.  This will help the district to return to an operational level where students and staff can safely return to face-to-face instruction in the district.
