NIC Inc., a digital government solutions firm, opened five COVID-19 testing sites in Kansas this week in addition to their previously established sites in Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi and Alabama.

Sites in Hays and Tribune opened Monday, with the remaining three to open Saturday.

The site in Hays is located at Big Creek Crossing at 2918 Vine St., and the site in Tribunes is located at the Greeley County Fairgrounds on Fairgrounds Rd.

Each will be open from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

No appointments are required and people do not need to be symptomatic or need a referral to be tested.

All testing is provided at no cost.

All five sites will be run in partnership with TourHealth, and in addition to testing for COVID-19 can also administer pending COVID-19 vaccines as well as the flu vaccine.
