Genesis offers COVID-19 testing for businesses
Genesis Family Health is now offering COVID-19 testing for businesses across southwest Kansas.
“We know it is important for businesses to begin their services once again,” said Genesis officials. “and with the recent decision by local governments to begin the process of reopening, we feel that it’s just as important for businesses to be able to reopen with the safety of their employees and guests in mind.”
If an employer would like to have their employees tested, they may contact Genesis for canvas testing. From there, Genesis can either send their medical staff to the place of business and set up a testing area for employees or send their employees for testing to one of their four medical clinics. Genesis will also test employees who present COVID-19 symptoms, though they urge all employers to follow the guidance of the CDC and their local health department, should an employee begin showing symptoms.
The symptoms of COVID-19, as of now, may include a fever of 100.4 or higher, chills, rigors, myalgia, malaise, headaches, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, smell and taste disorders, and diarrhea.
