Williams an all=WAC selection

Azavier Williams of the Garden City High School boys’ basketball team was the lone Buffalo to claim a first team spot in the all Western Athletic Conference boys and girls squads.


Great Bend finished with the player of the year, Alex Schremmer, and the coach of the year, Tim Brooks.


On the girls side, Garden City’s Keyhana Turner and Amaya Gallegos received second team honors. Liberal finished with the player of the year, Katie Horyna, and the coach of the year, Carter Kruger.
