Ulysses 43, Colby 34
The Ulysses Tigers defeated the Colby Eagles, 43-34, Tuesday night in Ulysses.
Junior Tiger Gina Ballesteros was the leading scorer for both teams, with 16.
Ulysses will now travel to Holcomb to take on the Longhorns Friday night in Holcomb.
South Gray 63, Ingalls 60
The Ingalls Bulldogs dropped their first game of the season, losing to the South Gray Rebels, 63-60, in Ingalls Tuesday night.
The close loss came after the Bulldogs out-shot the Rebels from three-point land, 8-5, and the free throw line, 6-5.
Ingalls will try look to bounce back Friday night when they host the Ashland Eagles.
Minneola 63, Satanta 38
The Satanta Indians dropped another game on Tuesday night, losing to the Minneola Wildcats 63-58 at home.
Satanta's leading scorer was junior Tanna Anderson, who finished with eight.
Satanta will look to get their first victory of the season Friday night as the Indians host the Sublette Larks.
Dodge City 44, Hugoton 43
Hugoton lost a close nail-biter to Dodge City Tuesday night, as the Eagles couldn't fend off the Demons and ultimately lost, 44-43, in Hugoton.
A 15-point Eagle fourth quarter almost saw Hugoton steal one away from Dodge City, but the Eagles' slow start, only scoring 18 points in the first half, and missed free throws (only seven makes of 15) was too much to overcome. Senior Laney Hoskinson led the way for the Eagles with 13 points.
The Eagles will look to get back in the win column Friday night, whey they travel to Goodland to take on the Cowboys.
Tyrone (Okla.) 61, Moscow 35
The Moscow Wildcats dropped their second game in a row, losing to the Tyrone, Okla., Bobcats 61-35 Tuesday night in Moscow.
A reason for the 26-point loss was that the Wildcats were out-shot from the field 22-14, and 4-0 from the three-point line.
Adriana Saucedo led all Wildcats with 11 points.
Moscow will try to break their losing streak Friday night when the Wildcats host the Hardesty Bison.
