South Gray 63, Ingalls 26

The Ingalls Bulldogs came up short Tuesday night, falling to the South Gray Rebels 63-26 in Ingalls.

Ingalls got off to a slow start by scoring six points in the first half, while the Rebels took 40 points into the break. The only Bulldog to crack double digit scoring was sophomore Timothy Gillen with 10.

The Bulldogs will now look to give a stronger performance on Friday when they host the Ashland Eagles.

Satanta 49, Minneola 34

The Satanta Indians defeated the Minneola Wildcats for the second consecutive game 49-34 Tuesday night in Satanta.

This was a closer game as the Indians defeated the Wildcats 70-34 Saturday in the Cimarron Bluejay Classic. Junior Gabriel Salas led all scorers with 18 points.

The Indians will try to get their third win in a row Friday night as they host the Sublette Larks.

Stanton County 74, Deerfield 32

The Stanton County Trojans avoided a second straight loss and picked up their fourth win of the young season, after defeating the Deerfield Spartans 74-32 Tuesday night in Deerfield.

Stanton County outscored Deerfield 9-5 from the three-point line, which canceled out that the Trojans were out-shot from the charity stripe 9-1 by the Spartans.

Deerfield will now travel to Satanta while Stanton County travels to Lakin. Both games are scheduled for Friday.

Cimarron 51, Meade 48

The Cimarron Bluejays avoided a second straight loss by defeating the Meade Buffaloes 51-48 in Meade Tuesday night.

Although it was a close game from start to finish, Cimarron showed consistency as the 'Jays were only outscored in one quarter Tuesday night, that being the first when they trailed 8-6 entering the second quarter. Senior Alec Coast led the way for the Bluejays with 13 points

The Bluejays will now host the Elkhart Wildcats Friday night.

Dodge City 78, Hugoton 75

Just like the girls, the Hugoton Eagle boys lost a close game to the Dodge City Demons Tuesday night, 78-75, in overtime.

Although in a losing effort, senior Mitchell Hamlin lit up the scoreboard and led all scoreres with 28 points, 9 of which came from the 3-point line.

Hugoton will now look to break their two game losing streak when they travel to Goodland Friday night to take on the Cowboys.

LaCrosse 52, Dighton 45

The Dighton Hornets dropped their third game of the season to the LaCrosse Leopards, 52-45, Tuesday night in Dighton.

Even after taking a 31-29 lead into halftime, Dighton could not hold off a strong second half performance by the Leopards. Sophomore Marcus Rowe led all Hornets, and tied with one Leopard, as leading scorer with 16 points.

The Hornets will look to bounce back when they face the Quinter Bulldogs in Dighton Friday night.
