Motorcycle enthusiasts make their way east on Fulton Street to head south on the US 83/50 Bypass to begin this year’s Kansas Bikers Backing Our Blue run from the Knights of Columbus. The route for the run was to Hugoton, then Ulysses then Lakin and back to Garden City. At each town’s stop, the riders presented a blue-lined flag and a coin to the county’s sheriff. Proceeds from the event stay in the Kansas and go to the Kansas Concerns of Police Survivors and goes toward helping families of fallen officers. This was the fifth year for the local event.
