The latest move by the committee that oversees Gov. Kelly's executive orders just made another black eye for Kansas. Canceling her order for churches to limit attendance through this pandemic is totally irresponsible and is putting lives in danger.
Your constituents are likely to make a fatal assumption that things must be OK. You should be held accountable as accessories to murder for any deaths resulting from this dumb decision.
Just because the order was lifted is no reason for Kansans to assume things are OK. The fact that 44 of our 52 states have similar orders should give you pause. Pastors should also consider the welfare of their parishioners and seek safer ways to spread their message through this trying time. I hope folks are paying attention to the growing statistics.
