SCOTT CITY - Katherine F. Roberts, age 91, died on March 8, 2021, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, KS. She was born on March 13, 1929 in Leoti, KS, the daughter of Curtis D. And Beatrice Page Lane. She was a resident of Scott City, since 1947 moving from Leoti, and was a nurses aide and a homemaker. On April 5, 1947 she married Wayne C. Roberts in Liberal, KS.
Survivors include her two sons, Gary Roberts of Scott City, KS, Major Roberts of Scott City, KS; one brother, Ross Lane of Baldwin City, KS; one sister, Nevada Parker of Leoti, KS, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2002; one son, Jay Dee Roberts; one daughter, Tana Phillips, one great grandson, Brett Phillips, one great granddaughter, Emily Northcutt; three sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. March 16, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City KS. Services will be streamed live on Facebook at Price and Sons Funeral Home page (www.facebook.com/priceandsons) starting at 1:55pm. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, KS. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, KS.
