SALINA - Marshall Young Woodbury, age 87, died on March 5, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, KS. He was born on March 19, 1933 in Leoti, KS, the son of George and Cleo Blackburn Woodbury. He also developed property in Garden City, KS, for many years. He resided in Salina, KS since 2007. Marshall graduated from Wichita County High School in 1951 and began helping his father farm. On Feb. 17, 1952 he married Janene Clark in Leoti, KS. They built the farm of their dreams from the ground up.
Survivors include his wife, Janene Woodbury of Salina, KS; two daughters, JaLue Smith of Salina, KS, Lisa Cooley of Clarkston, MI; two brothers, Ted Woodbury of Oklahoma and Terry Woodbury of Kansas City, MO; sister, Phyllis Woodbury Bryant of Denver, CO; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. March 12, 2021, at the United Methodist Church in Leoti, KS. Services will be streamed live on Facebook at Price and Sons Funeral Home page (www.facebook.com/priceandsons) starting at 1:55 p.m.. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, KS. Interment will be in the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, KS.
