Edward Lee Nichols, age 65, died on March 5, 2021 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City KS. He was born on Aug. 7, 1955 in Grapevine, Texas, the son of Delbert Lee and Dolly Luise Moore Nichols. He worked as an auto mechanic. On Nov. 11, 1993, he married Catalina Alvarez. She survives.
Other survivors include, five children, Maria Nichols of Garden City, KS, Edward Nichols of Garden City, KS, April Nichols of Mt Pleasant, Texas, Steven Nichols of Cookville, Texas, Eric Nichols of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; mother, Dolly Nichols of Leesburg, Texas; four siblings, Richard Nichols of Idabel, OK, Larry Nichols of Atlanta, Texas, Theresa Lucas of Atlanta, Texas, Jody Nichols of Leesburg, Texas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be on March 10, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, KS. Funeral services will be on March 11, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
