Eusebio “Chevo” Aguilar, 66, died Friday March 5, 2021 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, KS. He was born March 5, 1955 in Veracruz, Mexico, the son of Emilio Aguilar and Agustina Ortiz.
Mr. Aguilar was raised and attended school in Veracruz. He married Bety Huerta in 1981. Shortly following their marriage they moved to the United States and started a family. He was employed at PSSI as a supervisor for over 30 years.
He is survived by wife, Bety; his children, Conchis (Manuel) Marin, Alfredo (Yolanda) Aguilar and Carolina Aguilar; eight grandchildren: and siblings, Angelina Aguilar, Mario Aguilar, Margaro Aguilar, Joaquin Aguilar, Juan Aguilar and Lorenzo Aguilar.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Agustina Aguilar.
Visitation will take place from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2021, at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. Seventh St., Garden City, KS. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City, KS, with Pastor Mario Molina officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Eusebio Aguilar Memorial Fund in Care of Garnand Funeral Home.
