WICHITA - Kathleen Ann Albrecht, Nov. 12, 1955 – Feb. 18, 2021, age 65, a homemaker and GJ & Company office administrator, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Dallas, Texas, while surrounded by her family.
Kathleen was a Ft. Hays State University Alumni, a resident of Wichita, KS, since 1978, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and “Nanny Kate”. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene G. Heiman and sister, Karen Sue Metzger. Survivors: husband, Rick R. Albrecht; mother, Clarine Heiman of Garden City, KS; daughter, Kara (Justin) Ballinger of Dallas, Texas; sons, Christopher (Anne) Albrecht of Ft. Worth, Texas, Michael (Sarah) Albrecht of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Kate, Charlotte, Benjamin, William and Elizabeth; brothers, Bill (Janell) Heiman, Jon (Becky) Heiman and Chris (Traci) Heiman all of Garden City, KS; sisters, Jeanne (Dean) Kleysteuber of Ridgedale, MO, Patricia (Ross) Miller of Garden City, KS; father-in-law, Bob (Judy) Albrecht of Russell, KS; brother-in-law, Dennis (Lisa) Albrecht; sisters-in-law, Lori (Gene) Albrecht and Shari Albrecht; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation, 6:30 p.m.; Rosary, 7:30 p.m., both Tuesday, Feb. 23; Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, all at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Wichits, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS 67212 and Bishop Carroll Catholic High School, 8101 W.
