SCOTT CITY - E. Earl Kendrick, age 82, died on Jan. 25, 2021, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, KS. He was born on May 16, 1938, in Logan County, KS, the son of Albert Leroy and Adah Blanche Currah Kendrick. He was a farmer, truck driver, owned a hay business, and Author. On Oct. 5, 1958, he married Marilyn Mae Spellman in Scott City, KS.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn M. Kendrick of Scott City, KS; son, Brett Kendrick of Scott City, KS; daughter, Annette Shultz of Eudora, KS; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edsel and Ernest Kendrick; sister, Alberta Griffin; and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2021, at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, KS. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, KS. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church or the Park Lane Nursing Home in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home; PO Box 553, Scott City, KS. 67871. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, KS.
