MARIENTHAL - Roberta (Bobbie) Ilene Graff, age 92, died on Dec. 7 2020 at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, KS. She was born Jan. 11, 1928, at Dighton, KS. She was the eldest daughter of Don and Mabel (Murphy) Hutchins. Her family moved to Wichita County in her younger years. She graduated from Wichita County high school and then pursued a business degree in Kansas City. Upon returning, she was the bookkeeper for Boulware Mercantile in Marienthal. Bobbie married Victor Graff on Nov. 29, 1950, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marienthal, KS. Bobbie was a full-time homemaker and farm wife.
Bobbie’s surviving family includes her two sons, Greg Graff of Leoti, KS., Gary Graff of Marienthal, KS.; three daughters, Vicki Meyer of Kansas City, KS., Barbara Roemer of Scott City, KS., Peggy Graff of Fort Collins, CO.; one sister, Paula Smith of California; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Her husband; parents; three sisters, Donna, MaryLou, and infant Barbara; granddaughter, Aubrey Roemer and grandson, Tyler Graff precede her in death.
Due to the recent increase of Covid-19, a private family vigil service was Dec 9, 2020, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marienthal, KS, and will be streamed live on Facebook at Western Kansas Catholic. A private family funeral mass will be held Dec. 10, 2020, at 10 a.m. A Mass will be streamed live on Facebook at Price and Sons Funeral Home page starting at 9:55 a.m. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, KS. Memorials may be given to St. Mary Cemetery Fund or Tyler M. Graff Memorial Park. Visitation was Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, KS.
