She was a longtime volunteer at the Gift Nook at St. Catherine Hospital and a weekly worshiper at the hospital’s adoration chapel. Many people asked to be included in her prayer list. For years, she served as a poll worker during local and national elections. Dorothy enjoyed craft work and cooking new and tried-and-true recipes for her family. She especially enjoyed planning activities for her grandchildren and attending their school and sporting events.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at St Dominic Church with her grandson, Father Drew Hoffman presiding. Rosary will begin at the church at 10:30.
