Randy Joe “Bubba” Brungardt, 57, died on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 at his home in Garden City, KS. He was born on March 9, 1963 at Garden City, the son of Donald J. & Betty Ann (Scheer) Brungardt.
Randy attended Russell Child Development Center in Garden City and Parson State Training Center. He returned to Garden City and was a client at Bethphage and later Mosaic. He worked on maintenance and making belts at Mosaic. He loved all sports especially the Kansas City Chiefs and boxing. He liked to bowl and dance and was a buddy to everybody. He enjoyed making his own Root Beer and playing with his Christmas musical toys.
He is survived by his parents, Donald J. and Betty Ann Brungardt of Garden City, KS; sister, Viola Bennett of Garden City, KS; brother, Jeremy Kells of Garden City, KS; sister, Wendy Beltran of Ulysses, KS; 23 nieces and nephews, 48 great-nieces and nephews and 12 great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Wright Brungardt; five brothers, Johnnie Chappel, Carl Chappel Jimmy Crow, Sammy Chappel and Monte Brungardt; and two sisters, Debra Aguas and April Smith.
Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, KS. Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City, KS. Memorials are suggested Mosaic or Finney County Library Summer Reading Program in care of Garnand Funeral Home. Due to COVID 19 am Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
