LAKIN - LeRoy L. Unruh, age 62, died at his home in Lakin, KS on Nov. 21, 2020. He was born on Jan. 2, 1959 in McPherson, KS, the son of Clayton and Jennie Unruh.
He lived and worked with many different walks of life and he had an impact on nearly everyone he knew. He was a general laborer with his passion being in the farming and driving industries as well as mental and spiritual health. He also worked alongside counselors at New Chance Addiction Recovery in Dodge City, KS.
Survivors include, one daughter, Tonya White of Lakin, KS; four siblings Gerald Unruh of Heartly, Texas, Marlys Esau of Montezuma, KS, Flora Martin of Ulysses, KS, Larry Unruh of Heartly, Texas; three grandchildren, Jennabelle White, Levi White, and Tatum White of Lakin, KS, and three step-children. He is preceded in death by one brother, Ron Unruh and parents, Clayton and Jennie.
Visitation will be on Nov. 27, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present from 4-6 p.m. at Price & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Nov. 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Salem Mennonite Church in Haskell County, KS. Interment will take place at the Salem Mennonite Cemetery.
