Thelma Fay Hoover

SCOTT CITY - Thelma Fay Hoover, age 77, died Oct. 27, 2020, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, KS. She was born on Dec. 30, 1942, in Stonington, CO, the daughter of James Wesley and Eva Fern Crissman Howard. She worked at Park Lane Nursing Home for 38 years before retiring in 2011. On Oct. 1, 1960, she married Ellis Harold Hoover in Clayton, NM.

Survivors include her two daughters, Tracy Wasinger of Scott City, KS, Sheila Ellis of Scott City, KS; one sister, Kay Day of Dighton, KS; eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Wesley Howard Jr., Elmer Clinton Howard; two sisters, Naomi Fern Howard, and Bernice May Torrontegui.

Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2020 at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, KS. Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, KS. Memorials In Lieu Of Flowers may be written to the Fay Hoover Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, KS.
