HUGOTON - James Roll (Jim) Olinger, 67, died on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020 in Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton, KS.
The son of Charles F. Olinger and Edna Dorothy (Palmer) Olinger. He was born Dec. 17, 1952 at Lamar, CO. He graduated from Hugoton High School and went to college at Colby Community College, Dodge City Community College and Ft. Hays State. Jim graduated with a bachelor's degree of Sociology.
He worked for Seaboard Farms at a feed mill for 20 years.
Survivors include brothers, John Olinger and wife Karen, Clifton, Idaho, Alfred Olinger and wife Kim, Montezuma, KS., Robert Olinger, Guymon, OK.; four nieces, eight nephews; many great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial has been established for the First Church of God. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the First Church of God, Hugoton, KS with Pastor Israel Franco presiding. Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS.
Friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton, KS. The family will be present to greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
