TRIBUNE - Jeanne Louise (Clark) Brown, age 91, passed away at home in Tribune, KS on August 8th, 2020. She was born on July 30th, 1929 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Charles Louis and Ruth Louise (Baker) Clark. Jeanne worked summers in the Kellogg’s and Post cereal plants in Battle Creek during high school and college. Following high school graduation, Jeanne attended Greenville University in Greenville, IL, where she met and subsequently married Lloyd Eugene Brown, on August 28th, 1949, in Battle Creek, MI, and moved to rural Wallace County, KS.
She is survived by: three sons, David Brown of SE Wallace Co., KS, Scott Brown of Tribune, KS, Jeremy Brown of Shawnee, KS; one daughter, Pamela Forbes of Tribune, KS; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Eugene Brown; father, Charles Louis Clark; mother, Ruth Louise (Baker) Clark; 3 brothers, Frank Clark, Jack Clark, Robert (Bob) Clark; 1 sister, Virginia (Clark) Bennett.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. (CDT) at the West Bethany Free Methodist Church, 1698 N. County Road 3, Leoti, KS. Visitation will be held, from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow at the West Bethany Cemetery in rural Greeley County, KS.
