Rodney Rene Boultinghouse

Rodney Rene Boultinghouse, born in Colby, KS on October 30, 1954, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, in Tacoma Washington, at age 66 from natural causes.

Rodney "Hot Rod" is survived by his loving wife Maria of 16 years, his two stepsons, Phi-Ho (Seattle) and Phi-Long and wife Rachael and son Mateo (Alabama),

his father Louis A. Boultinghouse (Kansas), brothers; Monte and wife Kim (Kansas), Kevin and Cindy (Kansas), Craig (Kansas); and his sister and Michelle and husband Rob (Kansas).

He was preceded in death by his mother Juletta Pauls Boultinghouse and sister, LuEtta Boultinghouse.

Hot Rod served as a Korman in the Navy for four years, Flight Medic in the Air Force Reserves for 33 years, and EMT for Madigan Army Hospital for 35 years. He retired in 2006 from the Military and in 2016 from his Federal Services.

A viewing will be held at New Tacoma Funeral Home 9212 Chambers Creek Rd. W. University Place, WA 98467 on October 7-9, 2021 from 2 pm-7 pm. Memorial service will take place on October 10, 2021, with a viewing at 1 pm and a service at 2 pm.
