Carl Edward Hall

ELKHART - Carl Edward Hall, age 89, of Elkhart, KS, died on June 25, 2020. He was born September 5, 1930, in Elkhart, KS, the son of James A. and Madge R. (Holcomb) Hall. He lived in the Elkhart area his entire life.

Carl served his country when he was drafted into the United States Army on April 18, 1951. After an honorable discharge, he returned home to continue farming. On November 7, 1955, Carl married Margaret A. Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret of Elkhart; children, Donna Heincker of Spring Hill, Sam Hall of Liberal, Tom Hall of Sylvia, and Patrick Hall of Topeka; siblings, Carol Hall, Mary Ansagar, John L. Hall, Gene Hall, and James Keith Hall; and ten grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Victor, Richard, Marvin and Max; sisters, Claudia Reason and Phyllis Cramer; infant son, James LaDuke Hall; daughters, Peggy Hall and Carla Nelson; and grandchildren, Carl and Maggie Hall.

Funeral service will be June 30, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Elkhart, KS. Friends may call on June 29, 2020, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart, KS. Interment will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery with military rites by VFW Point Rock Post #3162. In memory of Carl, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. 854, Elkhart, KS 67950. Condolences may be posted at
