SCOTT CITY - Judith Ann Kitch, age 79, died March 13, 2020 at the Scott County Hospital. She was born on July 14, 1940 in Ness County, KS. In 1958, Judy married Gary Kitch. They later divorced, but remained good friends. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Judy was an artist. She had earned degrees in commercial and fine arts, as well as an associates degree in sociology/psychology with an emphasis on art therapy.

On May 30, 2015, she married Dan Brown in Scott City. Other Survivors are her 2 children; Tad Kitch of Dighton, KS; Traci Taylor of Scott City, KS; her mother; Nella Funk of Scott City, KS; three brothers, Larry Funk of Garden City; Bob Funk of Cheyenne, WY; Kelly Funk of Scott City, KS; a sister, Sheila Boyd of Scott City, KS; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; step-children, Teri and Paul Eaton of Liberal, KS and step-grandchildren. Her father, infant daughter and one step-son preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held on March 23, 2020 at Scott County Cemetery at 11 a.m. Memorials can be made to the Judith Kitch Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Scott City.
