Charles Addison Stimatze Jr.

Charles Addison Stimatze Jr., age 72, died at St. Catherine Hospital on February 14, 2020. He was born on July 8, 1947 in Syracuse, KS, the son of Charles Addison Stimatze, Sr. and Thelma (Herren) Stimatze.

He grew up in Syracuse, Ks and attended Syracuse High School and graduated in 1966. On August 4, 1968, he married Loretta Lewis in Syracuse where they were married 51 years. He worked for Davis Motors as a Parts Manager and really never ever had a thought of retiring.

He is survived by, wife, Loretta (Lewis) Stimatze of Syracuse, KS; three sons, Charles Stimatze of Junction City, KS, David Stimatze of Syracuse, KS, Alan Stimatze of Syracuse, KS; a brother, Roy Stimatze of Pratt, KS; a sister, Patrica Tope of Lacrosse, KS; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Addison Stimatze, Sr.; mother, Thelma (Herren) Stimatze; and a sister, Jennie Beard.

Visitation will be held, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on February 18, 2020 at Fellers Funeral Home LLC in Syracuse, KS. Funeral Services will be held February 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. (MDT) at the First Presbyterian Church, Syracuse, KS. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse, KS.
