Manuel Levario, 74, died on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, at Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton. The son of Martin Levario Jimenez and Maria Porras-Gomez, he was born Dec. 30, 1944, in El Torreon Chihuahua, Mexico.

He was married to Evangelina Vigil on Dec. 14, 1967, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a farmer and loved his garden.

He is survived by his wife Evangelina Levario of Rolla, Kan.; sons, Martin Levario of Burlington, Colo.; three daughters, Reyna Levario of Rolla, Gloria Levario of Rolla, Evangelina Valdez of Hobbs, N.M.; brothers, Jesus Levario of Chihuahua, Mexico; sister, Josefina Levario of Mexico; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents; son, Manuel Levario; and daughter, Diana Levario.

Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton. Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton. A memorial has been established for the Manuel Levario Memorial.
