SCOTT CITY — Valarie Sue Duff, 70, died on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at her home in Scott City. She was born on May 2, 1949, in Goodland to Clarence and Betty Cloyd Harris.
A resident of Scott City since 1971 moving from Sharon Springs, Kan., she worked at the office and drove a feed truck at Beef Belt Feeders. On Dec. 24, 1982, she married David Duff in Sharon Springs.
She is survived by her husband, David Duff of Scott City; one son, Darren Duff of Scott City; two daughters, Gina Rodriguez of Dodge City and Dina Craft of Scott City; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daryl Duff; and one sister, Janie Wade.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Prairie View Church of the Brethren in Friend, Kan. Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City. There will be no calling times.
