Valorie Jo Rolfs, 66, of Hutchinson, formerly of Scott City, died on Sept. 9, 2019, at Mennonite Manor in South Hutchinson. She was born April 14, 1953, in St. Francis, Kan., to Albert and Milda Harris Enfield.

Valorie graduated from St. Francis High School in St. Francis with the class of 1971 and received her associate's degree from Colby Community College. She worked as a dispatcher for Kit Carson County Sheriff’s Office for 26 years. Valorie was a member of United Methodist Church in Healy. She enjoyed visiting with cousins and aunts, flower gardening and doing quiet time.

On April 9, 2005, Valorie was united in marriage with Reed Rolfs at Lakeside Chapel in Scott City. He survives.

She is also survived by her step-son, William Rolfs of Grand Junction, Colo.; brother, Brent Enfield and wife Toni of Derby, Kan.; two aunts; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Geneseo, Kan. Burial will be at Geneseo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Birzer Funeral Home in Lyons, Kan., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Joyce Meyer Ministries in care of Birzer Funeral Home in Lyons.
