Montezuma — Zenaida Bayron, 73, passed away on Aug. 8, 2019 at SunPorch Nursing Home in Dodge City. 

She was born on June 7, 1946 in Dapitan City, Philippines, the daughter of Inocencio Eguia Acaylar and Maxima Dagpin.

Zenaida was a school teacher and school administrator in the Philippines before coming to the United States.

She is survived by her husband, Tarcisio; children, Gina (Troy), Rizza (Arturo, Jr.), Glenn (Dorette) and Hazel (Harvey); and siblings, Azuncion, Felizardo, Erlinda, Ferdinand, Raul, and Gerardo.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rene; and siblings, Rolando, Arnulfo, Mila, Christopher, and Roseller.

Vigil Service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City on Monday, Aug. 12, 2019 at 7 p.m. 

Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding. 

Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Monday, Aug. 12, 2019 from noon to 5 p.m.
