SUBLETTE — Frances Jean Hoffman, 91, died July 31, 2019, at the Satanta Long Term Care in Satanta. She was born on Aug. 10, 1927, in Fritch, Texas, to Alpha D. and Vera Lucille (McClennagan) French.

A longtime resident of Sublette, Frances was a 1946 graduate of Sublette High School. On June 30, 1946, she married Richard Lee Hoffman in Sublette. Frances Jean was a homemaker and later worked at the McCalmont IGA grocery in Sublette.

She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Weeks of Sublette, Sue Stoppel of Sublette and Cynthia Collier of Indio, Calif.; three grandsons; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; a son, Richard L. Hoffman, Jr; three brothers, Jack, Russell and Jerry French; and two sisters, JoAnn McConnell and Peggy O'Neal.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sublette Christian Church. Burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery in Sublette. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Sublette.
