MONTEZUMA — Arlin I. Yost, 91, died July 25, 2019, at Bethel Home in Montezuma. He was born on Sept. 11, 1927, in Gray County, to John and Lena (Smith) Yost.
Arlin attended school at the Lone Star school in Gray County. He married Florence Frank on June 12, 1949, at the Salem Mennonite Church in Copeland. Arlin was a farmer and also did land leveling. He retired in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Florence of Montezuma; two sons, Daymon Yost of Sublette and Daylen Yost of Minneola; three daughters, Londa Koehn of Montezuma, Becky Nichols of Decatur, Ark., and Jan Nichols of Copeland; two sisters, Orreda Yost of Livingston, Calif., and Priscilla Harlow of Satanta; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Salem Mennonite Church in Copeland. Burial will follow at Salem Mennonite Cemetery.
